It is important to know that the factory coverage warranty period begins on the vehicle’s in-service date, which is the first date the vehicle is either delivered to the original purchaser or used as a company car or demonstration vehicle.

- Basic Coverage: 36 months/36,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the date of first use and covers all components other than normal wear and maintenance items. This warranty covers repairs and adjustments needed to correct defects in materials or workmanship or any part supplied by Toyota, subject to exceptions.
- Powertrain Coverage: 60 months/60,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the date of first use and includes engine, transmission/transaxle, front-wheel-drive system and rear-wheel drive system.
- Rust-Through Coverage: 60 months/unlimited miles, from the date of first use regardless of mileage and covers corrosion perforation of sheet metal.
- Emissions Coverage: Varies under Federal and California regulations. Refer to your Warranty and Maintenance Guide booklet for complete details.

Gold Limited Comprehensive Warranty
- Coverage begins from the date of purchase.
- It’s transferable at no cost, for added resale value.
- Covers any repair or replacement of components that fail under normal use due to a defect in materials or workmanship.
- $0 Deductible on any repair or replacement of a covered component.
Gold & Silver Limited Powertrain Warranty
- Coverage begins from the date of purchase.
- Gold certification covers 7 years or 100,000 total vehicle miles, whichever comes first.
- Silver certification covers 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first.
- Covers major engine, transmission components, and all internally lubricated parts.
- Offers travel protection that includes lodging and meal reimbursement when more than 150 miles from home.
- Provides substitute transportation reimbursement while your Toyota Certified Used Vehicle is undergoing repair.
- It’s transferable at no cost, for added resale value.
- $0 Deductible on any repair or replacement of a covered component.
Gold & Silver Limited Powertrain Warranty
All Toyota Certified Pre-Owned buyers are covered by a 24 hours a day, 7 days a week service during the term of the warranty. This coverage begins from the date of the Toyota Certified Used Vehicle purchase.
