Speed Test

The 2025 Toyota Tacoma is surprisingly quick and able to reach top speeds on the highway if necessary. The base version Toyota Tacoma can reach up to 60 mph in just 7.6 seconds, meanwhile, the Tacoma TRD Pro can go from 0-60mph in just 6.2 seconds! Both models have a maximum speed of 113 miles per hour.

It is important to note that the hybrid model has less aggressive acceleration than the nonhybrid models. The Limited model is also a bit faster than other nonhybrid models because of its street-focused tires.

The two-wheel-drive EPA estimates for the Tacoma are 21 mpg city and 26 mpg highway. With four-wheel-drive, the numbers change to 20mpg city and 23 mpg highway.
