Its time for another classic Toyota comeback! Get ready for the brand new 2025 Toyota GR86 sports car to make a return in 2025. This special Hakone edition will add a performance pack with a handful of new features and options to choose from including Brembo brakes and Sachs dampers. What To Expect
The last time we saw the exclusive Hakone edition was a few years back in 2020 when the Ridge Green color was released. You can expect the same glossy look with flatter paint to make the tone pop more.
It has been confirmed that the Hakone special edition will have a choice of a six-speed manual or automatic transmission and will be powered by a 2.4-liter, 4-cylinder boxer engine generating 228 horsepower and 184 lb.-ft of torque. The special edition will feature 18-inch satin bronze-finished wheels, a color-keyed duck-tail spoiler, black accents, and a Hakone badge.

It is important to note that there will only be 860 units proceed in total for the United States, so they will be very limited. Pricing for the Hakone special edition will be revealed at some point soon this year.
