What’s New With The 2024 Toyota Tacoma?

The Toyota Tacoma is a name that has dominated the midsize truck market over the past couple of years with more to come with the reveal of the new 2024 year model! This all-new 2024 Tacoma is ready to handle anything that comes its way.

Power and Performance

Toyota continues to build on its off-road DNA with the latest technology, powertrain, and chassis design. This year the Tacoma is sporting an all-new i-FORCE engine, a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder outputting up to 278 horsepower, 317 pound-feet of torque, and 8-speed automatic transmission. The new i-FORCE MAZ hybrid system produces 326 horsepower and an even more powerful 465 pound-feet of torque. The improved fully boxed frame of the Tacoma improves riding and handling to be more responsive. To improve off-road performance and ride comfort, the Tacoma offers an available four-link rear suspension for better isolation and ride quality on all surfaces.

Interior and Technology

There are many new and improved interior features such as improved front seats with six or eight-way adjustment, heating, and ventilation functionality on select trims. The cabin’s low horizontal access also makes the Tacoma feel very roomy while still maintaining great outward visibility. Toyota also packed the 2024 Tacoma with all o the latest tech including a 7-inch multi-information display with an available 12.3-inch version. You can also expect multiple USB C charging ports, an 8-inch touchscreen, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay just to name a few.

Safety is a key priority with the 2024 Toyota Tacoma with features like trailer reverse assists, 3D Panoramic View Monitor, as well as Multi-Terrain Monitor. A Blind Spot Monitor also is available to extend its detection zone.
